The shell of a turtle here is represented in the way of an eye. Turtles represent wisdom, strength, and protection. The right piece is hanging off a journey line, which symbolises that we are being guided and protected by our ancestors and elders before us. A reminder we may need at times🫶🏽

About the artist:

Kylie Monteleone is a contemporary Aboriginal artist using mostly acrylic on canvas together with the tools, skills, and stories handed down through generations. As an Interior Designer and Colour Specifier, colours inform her work to illicit memories, moments and layered stories. Her practice of storytelling  is shared through a contemporary lens, lead by intuition and informed by an active connection to culture and community. 


Size:

  • Left earring: 6.2cm approx
  • Right earring: 7.2cm approx.

Colours:

  • Dusty rose, honey comb, and blush matte acrylics with gold mirror acrylic accents and hand painted black detailing.

Studs are made with a titanium post, stainless steel pad with a hypoallergenic and tarnish resistant comfort clutch. 

Everything is made to order so we don't waste any materials.

Custom pieces take 5-10 days to make and all other pieces are 2-3 days to dispatch via your postage option.

All items are shipped from Melbourne with Australia Post.
