About the artist:
Kylie Monteleone, a proud Western Arrernte woman (central desert region, Alice Springs), is an Indigenous artist using mostly acrylic on canvas together with the tools, skills, and stories handed down through generations. As an Interior Designer and Colour Specifier, colours inform her work to illicit memories, moments and layered stories. Her practice of storytelling is shared through a contemporary lens, lead by intuition and informed by an active connection to culture and community.
